Homeware Haul

Hey everyone!
I don't think I've ever done a homeware haul before, even though I'm forever buying things for my room!
I've only got a few things here that I've bought in the past month or so but I get so excited and wanted to
show you the bits I got. Plus I'm sure they will be more soon enough!

Pillow - Primark
Similar Here/Here
I like my bedding to be quite simple so its all white. I wanted to add a very small bit of colour and needed
some extra pillows anyway and thought these would go perfectly. Plus, there were only £5 each!

Small Vase - TK Maxx
Similar Here
I got this small vase/candle holder so I could use it for all my smaller make up brushes.

Lamp - Wilko
Here
I got two of these for each side and I like very simple, light colours in my room. My bedding and furniture is all
white, my walls are an pearl/ivory colour. (The paint colour was called Ivory Tusk and I got it from Wilkinson's.)
I like the bits in my room to either be white/cream/gold colours.

Large Vase W/ Gold Rim
Similar Here
I got two of these from Wilkinsons. I can't find a link for them on their website and I literally grabbed the last two
so I don't know whether they do them anymore :( They looked so beautiful though and I'm doing up my make-up
storage and want it to look very simple and elegant. I got one either side of my mirror on my desk and will be
using them as brush holders for my bigger make-up brushes.

Photo Frame - Asda
Here (but mine is in 6x4)
I have a photo of me and one of my nephews from the day they were both born and really just wanted a frame.
I love this style, I have another one very similar and this only cost me £4! Bargain.

(There side table isn't part of this but it's from Ikea for anyone wondering.)

August Favourites

Hey guys!
I can't believe we're going to be in September next week. Although I'm kind of glad as I quite I'm
looking forward to Autumn and Winter (not the rain though!)
Anyway, here's all the products I've been loving through the month of August.
Enjoy!

I found this Journal in TK Maxx. I can't find it anywhere online but I've linked where it's originally from, they
have some similar stuff on their website. I just really liked this and thought it would be a great note book to
write all my blogging stuff in. Also I just love the inspirational words on the front of it. It's a nice little reminder
whenever I write in it.

I did a review on this foundation in my last post and if you read it, you'd know I really liked it. It's the only
foundation I've used this whole month as I really love it. So inexpensive and gives a great dewy finish.
Definitely recommend giving it a go!

So, my local Superdrug just added this new brand in store and I was pretty much like a kid in a candy store
when I first saw it. I just wanted to pick up everything and try just, especially as it's all so affordable!
I'm going back to try out more things and will probably be doing a few reviews on them soon. So far, everything
I've tried from here, I love! This palette was only £4! I decided to get the matte palette as I don;t wear many
bright colours on my eyes and I just wanted a simple palette of their to try out first. This palette is great for the
price you pay. The eye shadow isn't the best pigment ever, but it's still pretty damn good and if I put on an eye
primer then it'll stay all day but if not, it'll fade throughout the day. So as long as you use a primer this palette is
great. I'll be going back to get more!

I also did a review on this concealer in my recent post as well and I literally love this stuff. It's just a great under
eye concealer. As you can see I've used it to death the past month. It's so creamy and glides on so smoothly. I
apply it with my Real Techniques blending sponge and gives a flawless finish.

I've been trying out different skincare products recently and after using up all my regular Clean & Clear spot
treatment gel I use, I bought this as I really like Soap & Glory's skincare range. I really like this spot treatment.
It reduces the size of the spot quite a lot over night. It doesn't completely get rid of it but it makes it look a lot less noticeable.

I have only ever bought a few things from the Topshop make-up range and I always forget how much I like
their products. These lip paints are so pigmented and aren't sticky at all. I really love this colour, it's so natural
and it's definitely a 'your lips but better' colour! I always pop this on when I want to add a bit of colour.

I'm really falling in love with this brand of make-up and this lipstick is such a great idea. It's basically a normal
lipstick but with Argan Oil on the outside of it. It give my lips so much hydration with a great colour. Plus, these
lipstick are only £3! I mean, come on. That's just such a deal I cannot pass up!

Since driving, I annoyingly have to pay for parking pretty much anywhere I go and I like to be organised and
prepared so I make sure I have tons of change all the time and having it all in my purse just makes it so heavy
so I wanted to invest in a cute little coin purse that I could just stick in my handbag. I found this one in H&M
and I really love it. It was £9.99, which I thought was pretty good! I can't find the exact one online so try looking
in store for it. I have linked one that has a similar look to it though.

Hit or Miss: Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin Foundation & Eraser Eye Concealer Review.

Hey guys.
Today I'm going to be reviewing two products from Maybelline. Neither of them are new and both
have been reviewed many times before I'm sure, but recently I've wanted to switch up my boring routine
of always using the same foundation and concealer. After doing a bit of researching, I wanted to try these
two from Maybelline as they both have some great reviews, are easily accessible and are really inexpensive.

 Foundation: 010 Ivory          Concealer: Light

This foundation claims that it gives you a flawless finish and evens skin tone instantly . It also claims that you will
have better looking skin in 3 weeks. Now, I've been using this foundation for about a week now. So far I really love
it. This particular shade is very slightly darker than me. I can just about get away with it if I blend really well. I will
be going back to repurchase the next shade down but I'm pretty sure the next shade down is the lightest colour
they had and I'm not THAT pale. So if you are very fair then you might be able to try this out as it doesn't have
a very wide range of shades from what I've seen in store.

I do love the look this foundation gives me when I wear it. It gives you a great glow, makes you look very
energised and healthy. I Wouldn't say it completely full coverage as I still have to use concealer but it does
cover up the majority or imperfections on my face. It gives quite a dewy finish on my face (which I love) but I
usually dab a bit of powder over my t-zone otherwise it makes you look quite oily. I've got dry/spot prone skin,
so I wouldn't  necessarily recommend this to anyone with oily skin. So far as the 'better looking skin in 3 weeks'
goes, I haven't noticed anything dramatic yet but we'll see!

Overall, I am really liking this foundation. The pros to this are that it gives a great finish and makes my skin look
very healthy and awake. It's very easy to get hold of it and it's under £10. Also, it does contain SPF 20 which I
always like in foundations. The only cons to this foundation is that it can transfer quite easily onto clothes and
for me, pillows! Which is something that is quite annoying considering on the packaging they've wrote
'Non-transfer'. Also it hasn't got much of a range of shades to choose from in stores.

I'm gonna give this foundation a HIT because I really do love it. I just have to learn not to lay on any pillows!

Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer

I've been quite a loyal with my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer for quite a while but I have wanted to
try this one for a very long time and I am SO happy I have. I know this is for the under eye area but I do use this all
over the face just because it's so good. I don't have too much to say about this concealer just because I can't really
fault it. Once it's set, it doesn't crease under the eyes and stays put all day. It's so easy to use, easy to get hold of,
inexpensive and glides on so nicely.

Anyway, I think you get the gist of it. I really love it, so it's gotta be a HIT.

July Favourites

Hey guys!
It's come around to that time of the month again to do a monthly favourites!
This month I have been focusing more on skincare just because I've been breaking out a bit more than
usual and that's never good.. Thankfully these products have helped me out with that this month!

In my last post I mentioned this Aussie dry shampoo after coming across it in Boots. I usually use
Batiste dry shampoo and always loved it. But after discovering this Aussie one I was way too excited. I
really love it! I do still love Batiste and  honestly, I will probably just get whatever is on offer in the future
and just switch between them both as I love them both pretty equally at the moment, but I really wanted
to mention this one as I do really love it. I think the other thing that sucks is that you get less in the
Aussie one than Batiste and also it doesn't smell as good as Batiste. Otherwise, I'm a pretty satisfied customer!

After seeing a post from one of my favourite Bloggers/Youtubers (Michelle from Beauty and the Blog)
I went straight out and bought this scrub! She mentioned that she suffers from Keratosis Pilaris. It's
quite a common condition where the skin is red and bumpy. It's harmless but unfortunately there's no
cure. Most people get it on the back of their upper arms and thighs, which is where I get it.  She also
mentioned that she used this scrub to help get her skin smoother in those areas. So what do I do? I
immediately go out and buy this. I do not regret it. this scrub does wonders! If you suffer from the same
thing them go get this. It's an easy and inexpensive way to help smooth out those bumps. I also use it as
a normal face scrub and make my skin feel exfoliated and so soft and isn't harsh in the slightest!
Michelle's post here.

I love a good face mask and seeing as I love Soap and Glory and they had 1/3 off on all their skincare products
I thought I'd try out some new things. This mask is so relaxing and is perfect for a pamper evening. Leaves
my skin feeling so soft and clean and it really feels like it's getting deep in the pores. I always get so excited to use this!

Recently when I've wanted to wear a bit of colour on my lips but nothing too dramatic, I'll opt for this
lipstick from Revlon. It's a pinkish nude so goes with pretty much anything. I'm not a massive fan of nude lip
colours usually as they don't suit me that well unless they have pinkish tones in them. This one is my favourite
go to nude. Suits me perfectly!

Not long along I decided to switch up my skincare routine and use this rosehip oil at night instead
of a night time moisturiser. It really helps my skin feel hydrated since using it I've never looked back.
It doesn't break me out and helps with any scars or marks on my face. The only downside is that it's a little pricey
but I'm more than happy to pay it with the results I get!

I've had my Clarisonic for a very long time now and I have never had a single problem with it. It's definitely
one of the best purchases I've ever made. I feel like whenever I break out or my skin just have a bad few
days I can always rely on my Clarisonic to get my skin back in good condition! I would definitely
recommend in investing in a Clarisonic if you ever get the chance to.

Collective Haul

Hey guys!
I've got a haul for you today as recently I've been shopping because I wanted to try out a few new products.
Plus there's some usual purchases in there I've picked up recently.
Enjoy!

I needed to pick up a new dry shampoo so just got the usual one I buy as it was on offer. But, a few days
later when I was looking around Boots I saw that they now sell Aussie dry shampoo. Aussie is probably my
favourite hair care brand just because they do an amazing job for such a good price. You can't beat them in
my opinion! They had a few different types in their range but I recently coloured my hair brunette ,(I had a
little accident when trying to go lighter and it didn't really work) so I opted for the Aussie Miracle Dry
Shampoo Colour Mate. The point of this one I think is to use dry shampoo instead of washing your
hair so much, so that you keep your colour more vibrant for longer. I typically try and wash my hair
every 3 days anyway as it's not good to wash your hair too often. So far I really like this one! Smells
okay, not amazing but I can live with it. I have quite high hopes for this so we'll see how I get on!

Next up, I got another one of my usual moisturisers as well. This is the only one I use on my body as
I have quite dry skin and some moisturisers can irritate it and this one never fails me!

I wanted to try some new skincare bits so I picked up these two. I've only used them a few times and
so far I'm not really impressed. The Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser left my skin incredible dry, my lips
chapped and just didn't feel that nice on the skin. I have mostly dry skin anyway but I'm always prone
to spots. This just dried my face out completely and it took me a good 3-4 days to get it back to normal.
I haven't used it since so that's quite disappointing. My boyfriend however is spot prone and had oily
skin so I've passed them onto him to use and I feel they will suit his skin type better than mine. The
Charcoal Cleanser seems okay. It doesn't dry me out quite like the other one but I still don't see a
difference in my skin. I've also given this one to him. I think I need something much more gentle on my skin.

Herbal Essences Smooth Sensation Shampoo & Conditioner
I love the old Herbal Essences! Who doesn't? I've always heard bad things about them but it hasn't
really stopped me using them as I personally feel like they aren't bad for my hair. I'll usually only buy
these if Aussie aren't on offer or if these are really cheap. They're just nice to use as they remind me of
when I was little and they smell amazing. (I couldn't find the link to the shampoo :( but they'll have it in stores!)

Topped up on my favourite concealer! You know how much I love this, so I wont ramble
on about it! Bought 2 of them as I go through them so quickly and they're almost always sold out.
Probably because it's so good!

I thought I'd try this as I saw it was on offer and I've heard good things about it in the past. So far,
I like it. It's nice to use and feels refreshing. I wouldn't say I've seen a massive difference. It just feels
nice and refreshing is all.

Can never be without these babies! They're the best facial wipes of all time!
Honestly.

I wanted to pick up another one of these as my other one's getting a bit grubby. Since buying this
I've not applied my foundation any other way!

I wanted to try out different types of deodorant and I came across this one as it was on offer. (can never
say no to a good offer!)  I liked it so much I even put it in my monthly favourite. So I went out a
bought a few just to make sure I was stocked up!

This book was bought quite a few week back but I really wanted to include it as I really love the recipes
in it. I do wish there was a few more recipes in there but overall it's just a really cool recipe book and
the recipes look amazing. By the way, none of these recipes are healthy, apart from one recipe for green
juice. So don't expect any healthy options in there lol.

TK Maxx Gold Decorative Plate (Similar Here)
I really wanted more decorative items for my room and my desk and when I saw this on offer in TK Maxx
for £5 I couldn't say no. I really love the gold on the white. It just looks really chic and pretty. I wanted to
originally put all my purfume bottles on there but now I'm thinking to put all my regular skincare bits on
there. I'm torn! We'll see how it ends up but for now, it's a pretty little decoration.

TK Maxx Purse
Another bargain in TK Maxx is this purse. £5! I've literally been looking for a new purse for almost a year!
My old one was from Primark and I just got so sick of having the same boring one. Any other one I wanted
was way too expensive, I always love looking at the bags and purses in TK Maxx. But I just love that place
in general. It's just a nude coloured purse with all the card space and things I need, because I have a lot
of cards. It's getting a bit ridiculous I even had to double/triple them up. The brand on the front says
'New Design' but I have no idea of that brand and nothing came up on Google that I could find so sorry!

June Favourites

Hey guys!
It's the beginning of July (crazy!) which means it's time to share my June favourites with you.
I haven't really tried out any new products through June so I haven't got many favourites this month,
but I did pop into Boots and Superdrug recently to get some products I've been wanting to try out so
hopefully I'll have a bit more to show you next month!

This was something I bought a little while back, I just never opened it for some reason. But I found it going
through all my make-up s thought I'd start finally using it and I am SO glad I did. It's definitely my new
favourite mascara. I don't like my lashes to look too fake. I like them to look quite natural and this mascara
is perfect for that. It doesn't clump, it's not gloopy and it doesn't dry out in a week, which is something
that annoys me about a lot of mascaras.

This is a toner I use quite regularly. It's for spot prone skin (which mine is) and it helps dry out the spot
without drying out your whole face!

I've had this brush for quite a long time now. I've always used it for blush as it is a blush brush.
But recently, I've started using it for bronzer and I'm really liking the outcome. I usually use the
big powder brush for bronzer but I feel this one is just a lot better for bronzer.

This is a bit of a random one but  but I just wanted to mention it as I've seen a lot of people talking
about stick deodorants recently and want to share my thoughts. I usually use spray deodorants as
I never really thought of using stick ones. But I wanted to switch it up and try something different so
I picked up this one and I'm instantly converted! I don't think I'll ever use a spray deodorant again. This feels
like it's actually working and keeping my under arms moisturised as well as I feel like some other
deodorants can leave it feeling quite dry. Really recommend trying something like this if you haven't before.

I know I featured this in my last favourites but I do REALLY love it. It gives a lovely glow and looks
very natural. It's pretty much idiot proof as well. It doesn't leave streaks or patches (as long as you
apply it evenly). I'm just really happy with this purchase and loved it so much I wanted to show it
to you twice!

This foundation is very highly talked about. I can see exactly why! This particular shade I usually
only wear when I'm more tanned and recently I have been because of the good weather. I really
love the coverage it gives and how flawless it looks. I think I'm going to go and purchase one a few shades
lighter just so I can use it all year round because I have really been loving this foundation a lot recently.
Plus it's inexpensive and L'Oreal usually have offers on.
