Top 5 Most Used Skincare Products

Hey everyone! Hope you're all well.
The other night I was just thinking about all my skincare products I use, and how often I use certain ones
because I love how they make me skin look/feel. I though doing a post of my top 5 most used products and
why they're used, would be interesting as, people have their favourite products they don't necessarily use them
everyday. Anyway these are my most used and I hope you enjoy!

This is definitely number 1 on my list of most used skincare product! I use it every single night to remove my
make-up and I love it and wouldn't use anything else. It just gets rid of so much more than a normal make-up
wipe would. I do like cleansing balms but find this just much easier and less messy. This one is specially for
combination or oily skin. I have combination skin so I prefer to use this one rather than just the regular one as,
I think it;s better to use products that's designed more for your skin type than just a generic one for all skin types.

This is my most used face wash. I use it every night and some morning. I unfortunately have spot prone skin so
to help battle that, I  use a lot of tea tree products from the body shop. I try not to use too much of it though as I
can get dry skin in some areas so, don't want to dry that out.

I like to use this when my skin is looking really lifeless and dull and recently that's been a lot! After using this
I wake up with my skin look plump, refreshed and moisturised. I love really rich night creams as I feel like my
skin really soaks up all the goodness of them! It's a little pricey but, I personally think it's worth it as this has
lasted me a stupidly long time!

The other amazing skincare product I use a lot when my skin is dehydrated or dull is this face oil from
Antipodes. Avocado is good for you, Rose hip is good for you and it's organic.. perfect! It's perfect when my
skin is feeling dehydrated and stressed.

Now this is my go to for any spot situation I've got going on. It says it's mostly for under the skin spots that you
cant just squeeze. But, I use it on all sorts and it works a dream. It's not magic but it definitely helps keep it
under control! I use this stuff almost every night I love it so much.

My Night Time Routine

Hello everyone! A few posts ago I did my morning routine - today I'm going to be doing my night
time routine. I use quite a lot more products in the evening than I do in the daytime as  I like to keep my
skincare simple when I'm wearing make-up on top and products sinks into the skin better as you sleep.
Enjoy!

A lovely au naturel picture of me before bed..

Firstly, I remove all my make-up with this micellar water. I used to use the original one from Garnier but, this
one is fairly new and is designed for combination/skin. I prefer to use this one as it cleanses my skin and helps
with my combination skin at the same time.

Then I'll go in and wash my face with this tea tree wash from The Body Shop. It get rid of any bits of make-up I
missed and also helps with any blemishes I have. It feels really refreshing on the skin and my face feels so clean
after using this!

After washing my face I'll go in with my tea tree toner. It helps to clear up blemishes without drying out my skin.

Every other night I will use this tea tree night lotion. It helps fade any marks blemishes have left and also helps
clear up my skin. I saw results after the first night of using it!

On the night I don't use my teat tree night lotion, I will use my absolutely favourite product! It's very strong so I
can only use it every other night. I wont tone if I'm going to use this and I feel it might be too much to do both.
This product helps to resurface the skin and also helps get rid of wrinkles, pigmintation and sun damage. It's also a
really effect acne treatment. I highly recommend it!
Check on my review on Liquid Gold here!

Sometimes I switch up my routine and instead of helping to fight against blemishes, I like to use moisturising
products to help plump my skin and give it glow. I use this when I feel my skin is looking really dull. I wake up
the next day with radiant and plump skin!

I really love using this rosehip oil! It' the best all rounder. It helps reduce redness, fade marks, hydrate my skin
and you can use it all over as well!

BEST SPOT TREATMENT EVER. - That is all.

This is a fairly recent purchase. I've been using it about a week now for my brows and lashes. Over time my lashes
have become small and weak and I also wanted bushier brows. I feel I would be more confident with out make-up
if I had better skin and better brows. They aren't too bad but they are a bit sparse and thin towards both ends. So
far I have't seen a dramatic difference yet but, I hear it takes a few weeks to see a difference. Will keep you updated!

Sorry I forgot to add this in! I use it about once or twice and week, to get rid of any dead skin cells and brighten to
skin with out over drying. It goes perfectly with my other tea tree products.

Usually, I shower before bed and I can't shower with out moisturising after. I have quite dry skin if I don't moisturise.
This is the only one that saves it and keep it moisturised for at least a few days. It sinks into the skin so nicely and
isn't sticky and actually smells very nice (like oats!).

I like to apply this gradual tanner every other night to give my skin a bit of colour and glow. I'm pretty pasty in
the colder months unfortunately. This just gives me enough colour to look like I'm actually alive!

My Morning Routine

Hello everyone! Hope you're all well.
Today I'm going to show you my morning routine and what I do on a typical morning.
(Be warned - you do see in when I first wake up without make-up!)

I usually wake up at 8.30am at the latest everyday - even on my days off.
The first thing I do is turn my alarm off and check my phone - emails, Facebook, Instagram etc.
Then I'll get up and brush my teeth and wash my face. I switch between two different face washes in the morning depending on what my skin is like.
Then I'll go in with my moisturising cream.
Then I'll usually do my make-up if I'm going to work or going out. If it's my day
off or I'm staying in I'll try not to wear make-up.
(I will be doing an updated everyday make-up routine soon!)
Once my make-up is done I head downstairs for breakfast.
(I'll be doing a post on healthy breakfast ideas also)
Then I get dressed and either head out the door or change into some comfortable clothes and blog!

The Body Shop Haul

Hello everyone! Today I've got a little haul from The Body Shop. I had a 40% off
discount code so bought the things I've been lusting over for a while! I've only used one product
once so can't give too much on an opinion on each thing yet but I was just so excited to show  you.
I also got the most loved Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder (forgot to picture it - sorry!).
I've only swatched it so far but it looks beautiful! I'm so excited to use it.

This is the only product I've used before and is just a repurchase. I really love the fresh feelings it
gives me. I'm prone to spots so this facial wash helps keep them at bay with out drying my skin out.

I've tried so many different toners recently and I haven't been wow'd by any so far. This one has such
great reviews and goes hand in hand with my tea tree facial wash, so why not give it a go!

I didn't really need a new exfoliator but I wanted to try as much from the body shop as possible. I have
combination skin but also spot prone so, it was either between the tea tree scrub or the seaweed scrub.
I'm trying this one first and see how I get on with it as it claims it unclogs the pores without over-drying.

I wanted to try another facial wash as the seaweed range is supposed to be good for combination skin.
Will keep you updated on how I get on with it!

I researched the products online before I bought them and this product had over 1000 reviews and they
were mostly good. They've supposedly changed it recently so people had complaints but I personally
never used it before so don't know what it was like before. Either way I hope it's as good as everyone
says it is! I'm looking for moisture with out the greasy residue but at he same times helps with any scars
or marks on my face.

Recycled Body Polisher
I've been looking for a good way to exfoliate when in the shower and I saw Amelia Liana talk about this
on one of her videos and instantly was like, 'yes! That's what I've been looking for!' So it was something I
had on my list to pick up when I was at the body shop. I've used it once in the sower so far and I absolutely
love it! I really want to go in and pick up extras just in case. (I tend to do that when I love something as
I'm scared it'll discontinue/sell out.)

Empties

Hello everyone! Hope you're well.
Today I'm just doing a quick post on a some of my recent empties.
There's not very many and they aren't too exciting, just my everyday products.

I try to only wash my hair every 3/4 days to keep my colour lasting longer and also it's bad to wash your hair
too often. On those in between day I use this dry shampoo especially for brown hair. It does a perfect job and
I can always rely on this to keep my hair looking fresh.

My very reliable and most favourite hairspray. I've repurchased this numerous times and will continue to do
so and it does such a good job and keeping my hair in place and smells great. I do think I think to branch
out and try some others though!

I started to up my skincare regime and I have started to use a toner after cleansing. This is the one I've been
using for the past few months. It did do a good job and I do already have one I bought as a back up. I do want
to see if I can find something a bit more

I don't always wear nail polish but when I do this is literally a must have. I never have enough time to myself
to relax and pamper myself and do my nails etc. I've always got something I need to be doing so this definitely
helps speed up the process of drying my nails! Now I've started using it I can never be without it.

I've spoke about this micellar water on my blog before and I absolutely love it. I never really like make-up
wipes that much and always wanted something that felt nicer on the skin. Wipes never made my face feel clean,
whereas this just makes my skin feels so incredibly clean and fresh. I will cleanse properly after using this but
also to make sure every bit of make up is off as I prefer to cleanse twice. Definitely a product I recommend.
Even for sensitive skin! I' actually love it so much I have 3 back up bottles as I stock up whenever it's on offer.

I never thought I'd say this about an eyebrow pencil but I really love this one. I use to use an eye shadow powder
and an angles brush for my brows but it was a bit harsh looking I feel. This is very natural looking as long as
it's done with a light hand. I've always purchased a new one!

November Favourites

Hello everyone!
Today I'm doing my November Favourites which I'm so exciting about because that means it's now December
and that means it's almost Christmas! I don't have tons of beauty favourites so I've added in a few non beauty
favourites of mine this month to make it more interesting.
Enjoy!

Primark Khaki Knit Jumper
I'm quite fussy when it comes to jumpers as they can make you look quite frumpy or they itch and just find it hard
to find a decent one that's inexpensive as well. This one from Primark fits really nicely and is one of my favourite
colours (khaki) and was only £10!

This is my new favourite exfoliator! I've been looking for a good one for a while now and after seeing quite good
reviews of this brand in Boots, I though I'd try out a few things from the range. This does the job perfectly and
leaves me skin feeling incredibly smooth and it also helps fight against any blemishes.

On the subject of exfoliator and scrubs I wanted one for my body also and this one is very similar to the face
scrub so does just as good of a job. It especially helps if you have Keratosis Pilaris.

I'm a massive fan of face masks. It's the perfect way to relax! Preferably just after a long hot shower with a
cup of tea in hand! ;) This one I got because I thought it was easier as it's a peel off one and it's easier to travel
with them also as they are little throw away sachets. It feels really nice of the skin and it really helps bring down
any blemishes you have.

I have wanted one of these for like.. ever! Seriously. I feel like I'm the last person to get one yet I have the
knottiest longest hair. I've been so desperate for one of these but couldn't really justify spending over £10 on
it after getting my other 'essentials' in Boots every other weekend.. But I finally caved in and got one and I
wish I had sooner. It just makes life so much easier. My hair is long and quite thick and I find it get knotted
a lot underneath and it's such a pain to try and sort it out. With this it' just makes my hair easier to maintain. Plus
it's really compact and pretty!

I've have this bronzer for god knows how long and it's still going! Since it's winter and I'm looking a little pale
these days, I prefer to add a bit of bronzer on my face to make me looking a bit more alive! This is always my
favourite go to bronzer because it's so natural looking and matte and is very easy to blend.

I found myself collecting a lot of notebooks recently.. I always am writing lists or just writing things down in
general and for my blog as well. I like to write things down as I feel more organised and I don't really like
boring old simple notepads. I find it nicer if I have something like this with a nice pattern on my desk as it's
almost like a bit of decoration on my desk as well.

TK Maxx Notebook
These two notebook's are also just to write things down in if I ever need to. I picked them up thought more so
for the quotes on the front. I love little positive quotes like this. It's just nice to read it ever once in a while. both
these quotes are from Jane Austen.
Quotes: 'We have all a better guide in ourselves... than any other person can be' - Jane Austen
'There is no charm equal to tenderness of heart.' - Jane Austen

Updated Skincare Routine

Hello everyone!
Today I'm just doing a quick updated skincare routine. I posted one not too long ago but it's
changed quite a bit since then so thought I would just do a little update on how it's changed.
Hope you enjoy!

Morning Routine.
I start by massaging my No7 Hot Cloth Cleanser (not pictured) then using a warm muslin cloth to wipe it off.
It's a basic cleanser that moisturises as it cleanses and it very gentle on the skin. Then I  put some of my Boots
Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Cleansing Toning Lotion on a cotton pas and wipe it all over my face. Sometimes I switch
it up and use the Boots Skin Clear Deep Cleansing Lotion. I then moisturise with my Cetaphil Moisturising Lotion
(not pictured). I then go on to do my make-up..

Night Time Routine.
I take off my make-up by putting some of my Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water on a  Boots Cotton Wool
Double Faced Oval Pads and wiping it all over my face. I usually do one for my eyes and then one for my face.
This usually get the majority of make-up off. I then go in with my Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm
and massage it into my skin to take really clean my skin. I then get rinse my muslin cloth under warm water, rinse
it off and wipe the balm off with this. After it's all off and my face is dry, I then go in with my Tea Tree and Witch
Hazel Cleansing Toner again and wipe it over my face with a cotton pad. I've used Neutrogena Visibly Clear Spot
products. Once that has sunk into my skin, I use either my Origins High Potency Night a Mins Mineral Enriched

Products  I don't use on a daily basis.
If I want to exfoliate I usually use the Boots Skin Clear Ultra Deep Pore Facial Treatment Scrub. It's a really
inexpensive great exfoliator. I sometimes use it on my body as well if I've got any rough patches and it works
dream! I've recently started using the Boots Tea Tree Witch Hazel Exfoliating Face Scrub which, I really
enjoy using. This one is also very inexpensive.

If I ever have a spot I've always sworn by Origins Super Spot Remover Blemish Treatment Gel. It's a very powerful
little gel. I also sometimes use Soap & Glorys Dr Spot. The one I've recently purchased and really love is the Mario
Badescu Drying Lotion. It is a bit pricey but it does the job amazingly. I put it on before bed and the next day the
spot s dramatically reduced and the smaller ones are practically gone.

Face Masks.
I thought I'd show you a few of my favourite face masks also as we're on the subject. My most favourite one
to use is the Lush Mask Of Magnaminty. Does such a great job every time and I expect nothing less from Lush.
I also purchased another Mario Badescu product recently. I bought the Mario Badescu Drying Mask to go
with my drying lotion. this mask along with it is pricey but I really see a difference after using it. A few other
favourites include Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque which is such an incredibly inexpensive but amazing mask.
pamper myself. The Una Brennan Super Facialist Clay Mask is a great mask for when my skin needs a deep clean
and for when my skin is dry and I need some moisture I swear by Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask.
I also picked up the under eye patches in TK Maxx. I can't find a link for them as everything's quite unique in
there as most of you probably know. They're just to help with wrinkles and puffiness under your eyes. It feels nice
using them and you eyes do look noticeably different as well.
