September Favourites

I know this favourites is very late but, better late than never right?
Enjoy..

This is for sure one of my holy grail products. I use to suffer from eczema all over my legs as a child and it wasn't the nicest of things but by the time I was 13/14 it just cleared up. I do still get dry skin, especially in the winter on my legs so I need a good moisturiser that will last. I got a sample of this in one of my Cosmo's and I absolutely fell in love. It's for extra dry, irritable skin which is perfect because although usually the rest of my body is fine with any old moisturiser my legs can be irritated easily by the wrong product. It says it's fragrance free but it does smell like oats which I actually love. But if you don't it's not too over whelming and won't linger very long. It lasts a good 2 days on me. I usually put it on after I've just come out of the shower and my skin is still slightly damp. Oh, and it has a pump which make it much easier to use!

This brush is the buffing brush from the Core Collection from Real Techniques. When I first got this set I didn't use this brush much as I didn't like it for foundation and didn't really need it. But recently I've started using it for powder and blush. I already have the powder brush from Real Techniques but I find it can be a bit too big as I just want to powder my T-Zone really. This is perfect for the job as it puts the powder on very nicely without have to cake my whole ace in it. I also use it for blush as it fits a bit nicer on my cheeks than my blush brush.

Hilary Radley Orange Make Up Bag
I found this little orange bag in TK Maxx and I just loved the colour. I'm not big on bright colours but for some reason this really stood out to me and thought it would be a nice little make up bag and was big enough to fit the essentials but small enough to fit in any of my handbags! I couldn't find it on the website or anything even remotely similar which is annoying but I'm sure if you go in your local TK Maxx you will find similar things. They always have good little finds in there!

So I was a little late on the whole Urban Decay Naked Palette bandwagon, but when I saw this came out in America I thought it was the perfect little starter palette for anyone! I purchased it as soon as it came out in the UK and I have't stopped using it since. I use the colour 'Faint' for my eyebrows every day. I just fill them in with a MAC angled brush. The other colours in the palette are just neutral colours and I usually just use them to add a bit of depth and colour to my eyes. The colours are very opaque and a little goes a long way with there. I've had this for the past year and it hardly looks like I've even used it! I personally think it's a great price (£20)  for how great the colours are and how long it'll last you. Plus every so often Debenhams have 10% off which means you can get the palette for £18 instead.
L-R: Venus, Foxy, W.O.S, Naked 2, Faint, Crave.

Primark Butterfly Clips
I wanted this clips for ages but forgot about them. Then i saw a girl wearing a few in her hair the other day so went out immediately to buy some so I didn't forget! They're just handy little clips to pull back any hair from your face. I usually use bobby pins but my hair is quite thick so they usually just fall down as soon as i put them in. These won't stay in one position all day but they look very effortless and pretty I think! I got mine for £1 for a pack of 8 in Primark but if you can't find any in your local Primark then I found a link for some in boots which are a bit more expensive.

I own a lot of Revlon nail polishes purely because I think they're good quality, cheap and if put on with a top coat, last a long time. This is probably my favourite one. It's a very Autumn/Winter colour and just think it's very pretty. To me, it's more of a smart, grown up colour. I usually put on two coats and although in darker lights it looks almost black, in the light it has a deep red/purple colour. It didn't photograph very well and didn't do it any justice in the picture but I would suggest to go and try it on in the shop anyway. If you're a lover of deep coloured nail polishes, this needs to be in your collection!

I usually use my Clarisonic every night but sometimes I like to give my face a break from it and in those breaks I like to use this Facial Scrub. It's especially for dry/sensitive skin and although my face isn't too sensitive, when it's colder weather my face does get quite dry. It works really well and leaves me face so smooth and clean and smells so good. The only annoying thing about this products is that you have to wash your face a few times to get all the exfoliating beads off your face and they can get stuck in your hairline. To prevent this happening I recommend using it in the shower. Also I don't recommend using this every single day as it can be harsh on your skin. I would say 1-2 times a week.
