My Haircare Routine

Hey everyone!
Today I'm going to be showing you my haircare routine. I've tried to keep it as simple as possible by
just showing you the main products I use. I don't really use to many different products on my hair
anyway otherwise it gets a bit too much to keep up with.

Here is just a picture of my hair showing you what colour it is and how long it is. I don't think you can tell
from this picture but my hair is in very good condition. I pretty much put that down to the fact that I very
very rarely use any heat on my hair. I sometimes curl my hair but never blow dry it or anything. I will always
leave it to dry naturally unless I'm very desperate and in a rush. I usually wash my hair every 3/4 days
depending on how bad my hair is looking. I also don't get it cut very often but I'm going to try and get into
the habit of having it trimmed regularly.

I usually wash my hair using the Macadamia Oil Shampoo and Conditioner. They work wonder on damaged
hair. I like to invest in things like this as I know it works and also where I don't wash my hair too often I don't
use it up so quickly.
If I'm not using this brand then I will usually use the John Frieda  Shampoo and Conditioner  as it's slightly cheaper
and is easier to get hold of. They aren't anything too special but they are safe for coloured hair and help detangle
hair and helps revive over styled hair.

My favourite hair mask to use is my Macadamia Oil Deep Repair Masque. It's very powerful so I only use it
about once a week on the mid-length's and ends of my hair instead of a conditioner. Then when my hair is
damp I will put the Macadamia Natural Healing Oil Treatment on the ends of my hair. This smells incredible
and love using it to keep my hair soft. I also use the conditioner from the hair dye I use sometimes also to keep
my colour sealed in. If you were wondering I use Nice n Easy Perfect 10 Permanent Colour in 6 Light Brown.

I don't always style my hair as when I'm working there isn't much point but when I do I will usually just back
comb it a little with my Denman Dressing Out Brush and put a bit of Got2b Happy Hour Hairspray in it. I
occasionally curl it and just use a bit of hairspray on top to hold it. Dry shampoo is very important to me
and I always have some handy! My favourite one is Batiste Brown Dry Shampoo. Then, whenever I need to
brush my hair I swear by my Tangle Teezer! It just makes having long thick hair a lot easier.

My Ciate Advent Calender Part 3

Hello everyone!
Today I'm going to be showing you the next 7 nail polish's I got in my advent calender.
They're much more spring/summer colours this week apart from the gold glitter which is love.

I got little decorative sliver and red balls which, look very difficult to do but I'm sure after a bit of practice I
can make it work! I got a lovely pale yellow colour which is beautiful but I got another yellow shade which,
is more of a mustard colour. This one I'm not so fond of as I prefer more feminine colours.

L-R: Caviar Pearls Deck the Nails, Kiss Chase, Pillow Fight, Amazing Gracie, Hidden Gem, Loop the Loop & Party Shoes.

My favourite shade is Amazing Gracie and I absolutely love the name of it.
I think it would look beautiful with Party shoes on top.

My Ciate Advent Calender Part 2

Hello everyone!
So I did a post about a week or so ago about my advent calender this year. It's basically got nail varnish
each day and two surprise gifts instead of unhealthy chocolate everyday! Today I'm just showing you
the first week of the things I've got from it including one of the surprise gifts!
My first post on My Ciate Advent Calender Here

L-R: Snow Globe, Boudoir, Hopscotch, Hoopla, Sugar Plum & Fit For A Queen.
Below is the bracelet I got as a surprise gift.

Each day when I open a new door there is a lovely little uplifting quote on
the inside of each door which I absolutely love.

In the first week I got 2 glittery nail polish's, 2 pastel shade's and 2 bright shades. I think the first lot of
colours are very lovely. My favourite one so far is the bright red (Boudoir). It's the perfect colour for Christmas.
I will be showing you what the colours look like on the nails after I've opened the whole advent calender so
look out for that! I'll also be showing you the next week lot of nail polish's I get!

My Perfect Winter Red Lip

Hello everyone!
Along with most girls, I love a good red lip during the colder weather. I usually like a dark red but recently I
picked up a few of the new Maybelline Color Drama Lipsticks and this colour just looked so amazing, I had
to get it. It's such a perfect Christmas red colour. I usually find it hard to wear a red lip day to day but I feel
this one is so simple and easy to wear. It does have good staying power but at the same time it  does transfer
too easily for my liking. Otherwise I really love this lipstick, especially as it's not drying in the slightest
and is quite moisturising.

My Ciate Advent Calender

Hello everyone!
So, I usually do the traditional chocolate advent calender every year but this year I wanted to be healthy (sort of)
and I also got extremely excited when I saw this advent calender. The Ciate Mini Manicure Month Set (£19.99)
contains 24 nail polishes which are all pretty good sizes. they aren't full sizes but they definitely are very
generous sizes for the price you pay of this calender.

I'll be posting about all the new ones I get every so often to keep
you updated on what colours I get each day so look out for those!

November Favourites

Hello everyone!
Today I'm doing my November Favourites which I'm so exciting about because that means it's now December
and that means it's almost Christmas! I don't have tons of beauty favourites so I've added in a few non beauty
favourites of mine this month to make it more interesting.
Enjoy!

Primark Khaki Knit Jumper
I'm quite fussy when it comes to jumpers as they can make you look quite frumpy or they itch and just find it hard
to find a decent one that's inexpensive as well. This one from Primark fits really nicely and is one of my favourite
colours (khaki) and was only £10!

This is my new favourite exfoliator! I've been looking for a good one for a while now and after seeing quite good
reviews of this brand in Boots, I though I'd try out a few things from the range. This does the job perfectly and
leaves me skin feeling incredibly smooth and it also helps fight against any blemishes.

On the subject of exfoliator and scrubs I wanted one for my body also and this one is very similar to the face
scrub so does just as good of a job. It especially helps if you have Keratosis Pilaris.

I'm a massive fan of face masks. It's the perfect way to relax! Preferably just after a long hot shower with a
cup of tea in hand! ;) This one I got because I thought it was easier as it's a peel off one and it's easier to travel
with them also as they are little throw away sachets. It feels really nice of the skin and it really helps bring down
any blemishes you have.

I have wanted one of these for like.. ever! Seriously. I feel like I'm the last person to get one yet I have the
knottiest longest hair. I've been so desperate for one of these but couldn't really justify spending over £10 on
it after getting my other 'essentials' in Boots every other weekend.. But I finally caved in and got one and I
wish I had sooner. It just makes life so much easier. My hair is long and quite thick and I find it get knotted
a lot underneath and it's such a pain to try and sort it out. With this it' just makes my hair easier to maintain. Plus
it's really compact and pretty!

I've have this bronzer for god knows how long and it's still going! Since it's winter and I'm looking a little pale
these days, I prefer to add a bit of bronzer on my face to make me looking a bit more alive! This is always my
favourite go to bronzer because it's so natural looking and matte and is very easy to blend.

I found myself collecting a lot of notebooks recently.. I always am writing lists or just writing things down in
general and for my blog as well. I like to write things down as I feel more organised and I don't really like
boring old simple notepads. I find it nicer if I have something like this with a nice pattern on my desk as it's
almost like a bit of decoration on my desk as well.

TK Maxx Notebook
These two notebook's are also just to write things down in if I ever need to. I picked them up thought more so
for the quotes on the front. I love little positive quotes like this. It's just nice to read it ever once in a while. both
these quotes are from Jane Austen.
Quotes: 'We have all a better guide in ourselves... than any other person can be' - Jane Austen
'There is no charm equal to tenderness of heart.' - Jane Austen

Updated Skincare Routine

Hello everyone!
Today I'm just doing a quick updated skincare routine. I posted one not too long ago but it's
changed quite a bit since then so thought I would just do a little update on how it's changed.
Hope you enjoy!

Morning Routine.
I start by massaging my No7 Hot Cloth Cleanser (not pictured) then using a warm muslin cloth to wipe it off.
It's a basic cleanser that moisturises as it cleanses and it very gentle on the skin. Then I  put some of my Boots
Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Cleansing Toning Lotion on a cotton pas and wipe it all over my face. Sometimes I switch
it up and use the Boots Skin Clear Deep Cleansing Lotion. I then moisturise with my Cetaphil Moisturising Lotion
(not pictured). I then go on to do my make-up..

Night Time Routine.
I take off my make-up by putting some of my Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water on a  Boots Cotton Wool
Double Faced Oval Pads and wiping it all over my face. I usually do one for my eyes and then one for my face.
This usually get the majority of make-up off. I then go in with my Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm
and massage it into my skin to take really clean my skin. I then get rinse my muslin cloth under warm water, rinse
it off and wipe the balm off with this. After it's all off and my face is dry, I then go in with my Tea Tree and Witch
Hazel Cleansing Toner again and wipe it over my face with a cotton pad. I've used Neutrogena Visibly Clear Spot
products. Once that has sunk into my skin, I use either my Origins High Potency Night a Mins Mineral Enriched

Products  I don't use on a daily basis.
If I want to exfoliate I usually use the Boots Skin Clear Ultra Deep Pore Facial Treatment Scrub. It's a really
inexpensive great exfoliator. I sometimes use it on my body as well if I've got any rough patches and it works
dream! I've recently started using the Boots Tea Tree Witch Hazel Exfoliating Face Scrub which, I really
enjoy using. This one is also very inexpensive.

If I ever have a spot I've always sworn by Origins Super Spot Remover Blemish Treatment Gel. It's a very powerful
little gel. I also sometimes use Soap & Glorys Dr Spot. The one I've recently purchased and really love is the Mario
Badescu Drying Lotion. It is a bit pricey but it does the job amazingly. I put it on before bed and the next day the
spot s dramatically reduced and the smaller ones are practically gone.

Face Masks.
I thought I'd show you a few of my favourite face masks also as we're on the subject. My most favourite one
to use is the Lush Mask Of Magnaminty. Does such a great job every time and I expect nothing less from Lush.
I also purchased another Mario Badescu product recently. I bought the Mario Badescu Drying Mask to go
with my drying lotion. this mask along with it is pricey but I really see a difference after using it. A few other
favourites include Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque which is such an incredibly inexpensive but amazing mask.
pamper myself. The Una Brennan Super Facialist Clay Mask is a great mask for when my skin needs a deep clean
and for when my skin is dry and I need some moisture I swear by Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask.
I also picked up the under eye patches in TK Maxx. I can't find a link for them as everything's quite unique in
there as most of you probably know. They're just to help with wrinkles and puffiness under your eyes. It feels nice
using them and you eyes do look noticeably different as well.

My Perfect Fall Nude Lip

Hello everyone!
Today I'm doing a short and sweet post on my perfect fall nude lip.
Hope you enjoy!

Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lipliner in Spice

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Super Natural

This is basically my twist on a classic nude lip. Usually I'm not a fan of nude lips as they don't suit me.
Darker colours usually suit me more. This nude lip is a darker then your average one.

You can wear the lip liner alone and keep it matte but I preferred the look of the gloss on top as the lip liner by
itself can look a bit drying on the lips.

Just a quick, simple, easy and also very affordable dark nude lip for the Fall!

Berry Lips

Hello everyone!
I love a good berry lip. Especially now with the colder weather.
They basically just go hand in hand really. Today I wanted to share with
you a few of my favourite berry colours that are perfect this season!

Topshop lip Crayon in Suspect (no longer available)
This is more of a brick red but I do like the way it looks. I love the colour but it is incredibly drying
on the lips so I wouldn't recommend wearing it for a long period of time and I sometimes like to
put a gloss on top if I don't want a matte look.

This is my favourite lip colour at the moment.Plus it's so moisturising on the lips. I worried this might
dry my lips out like the Topshop lip crayon on but not at all. It some lights it does look more of a
brick red which I'm usually not a big fan of but I do love this colour.

In the picture wearing this lip butter, it does look more pink but it's more a a deeper pink. It's a very pretty
colour and would suit so many skin tones. I know some people aren't a fan or such a dark lip so I think this
is perfect as it's more of a pinky/berry colour. It's very glossy and creamy and glides on your lips so nicely.

This is my all time favourite dark lip colour. I've had it for such a long time and no matter how many other
dark lip colours I come across, I will always love this one. It is more daring as it's very dark so not everyone
will be comfortable wearing this but I love experimenting with lip colours. It doesn't dry my lips out at all
and gives your lips a nice shine.

Christmas Wish List

Hello everyone!
So Christmas is in about 5 weeks.. eek! I'm already getting so excited, I've actually given my wish
list out to the family. I've also almost brought all my gifts already as I'm so organised! Plus I hate how
busy it gets nearer to Christmas. Anyway, here's a few things on my wish list this year..

I already own a pair of Ugg slippers and they are the most comfortable things ever! I wanted these ones
for a while. They look so cute and comfy!

I've slowly started working out and I would like to start running/jogging too. I wanted some really good
but simple looking running shoes. These are pricey but hopefully that'll motivate me enough to run!

This has been my signature perfume for years but it runs out so quickly and it's not cheap/ I definitely
wouldn't mind this in my stocking this year!

This is another one of my favourite perfumes ever. It always reminds me of the colder weather and
brings back good memories.

I know I'm a little late on this one but I wasn't too desperate to try this palette out as I know it is very
similar to the first one but I definitely wouldn't mind having it in my collection! It's definitely a nice little
stocking filler.

I really need to get a new Clarisonic as my one recently broke :(. I'm not sure how exactly, it just won't
turn on any more or even charge. I'm not fussed about any of the new Clarisonic's if I'm honest. Just the
basic Mia will make me happy!

I''m not much of a book lover but this looks like a great little read for girls who are into their make-up like myself!

I know this came out a while ago but I've heard nothing but good things about this book. I'm always up
for educating myself on how to have a healthier lifestyle

This is more of a present I will be buying myself! I need a camera to be able to focus on blogging much
more and this is the one I've been recommended to get. It's pricey but very worth it. Can't wait to finally have
my own camera!

October Favourites

Hey everyone!
I'm a little late with my favourites this month but hopefully it was worth the wait!
I've been switching up my skincare a lot recently so I've got a few new skincare products here which
I'm really excited to share with you. Plus I finally found a brow product that I absolutely love for only £6.
Enjoy!

Im very happy with my brow routine but I'm always looking of other brow products to try out, especially if
they are cheaper! As soon as I saw the advert for this, I went straight out and bought it and now I'm obsessed.
I looks very natural and is so easy to apply. Definitely suggest it if you're a brow beginner. The only fault
with it is that the side the sponge is, has started sort of leaking. I'm not sure if anyone else has had this problem
but other than that it's an amazing little product.

I wanted to try these new lipsticks for ages! I finally got round to trying them and I bought this colour and
another colour which is a bright red and I'm so in love. I've heard mixed reviews on these but I personally love
them. They are very pigmented and last ages. Plus they don't leave your lips looking dry as they are very
moisturising as well. Pretty good for only £4.99!

After my most recent post, I'm sure you can tell I really like this mascara. I won't go on as you can read what my
thoughts were on it in that post but it's the best mascara I've ever used. The primer came free with the mascara
and it really does help using it before applying the mascara. It's not the cheapest I know but it is 10% off at the
moment at Debenhams!

I spoke about this cleansing balm in my latest collective haul. I'm really getting on well with it. I've had it over
a month and it's barely gone down so although it's pricey, it does last quite a while which is worth it in the
long run. It's creamy and literally takes off all my make up. I use it with a muslin cloth and my face feels so
much cleaner and moisturised after using it. I've definitely converted to cleansing balms now!

Seeing as I'm trying to get a better skincare routine, I thought I better get a decent night cream. I've always
loved Origins products and have never had any complaint about anything I've bought from them. This cream
helps renew your skin overnight and keeps your skin looking moisturised and fights dullness. My skin looks
so much more plump and glowly (if that's even a word!) since using it!

I wanted a new toner that was a bit stronger and gave me better results. I was using Neutogena's spot stress
control cleansing lotion after I used my cleansing balm to help fight against spots but I wasn't seeing as
much of a change as I'd like. I researched others to see what the best sellers where and what things people
liked. I bought two different ones and this was one of them. I've been using it for a few weeks now and I'm
definitely seeing a different since using it! I use it night and morning after cleansing and when I wake up all
my blemished and reduced quite a bit

Maybelline Color Drama Lipstick - Berry Much                               Maybelline Brow Satin - Medium Brown

Matalan Owl Coasters - Similar Here & Here
Having white furniture is pretty but it does mean that if I'm not careful I can leave marks which, I obviously
don't want so for a while I've been on the look out for some cute coasters. I saw these in Matalan and just had
to get them! I believe I paid about £4/£6 for them, so pretty reasonable pricing. I couldn't find the actual ones
I got online but found some similar.

Review: Urban Decay Perversion Mascara

Hello everyone!
Today I'm going to be reviewing the new(ish) Urban Decay Perversion mascara.
Perversion came out earlier this year and claims that it can give you 'bigger, blacker, badder lashes'.
With this purchase, I also received a free sample of the Subversion lash primer. I've heard so many good
things about this mascara and the fact that Kim Kardashian wore it on her wedding day made me just
want to buy it for that reason! Today I'm going to tell you whether this mascara and primer live up to their
expectations.

When I first heard about this mascara, I wasn't actually very fussed about it. Probably because I hadn't seen
any advertising for it or seen many people even review or talk about it. A few months ago whilst I was having
a look round Urban Decay for something else, the guy at the counter kept pushing this mascara on me and I
just wasn't interested. He said how Kim Kardashian wore it on her wedding day and how great of a mascara
it is. I don't usually buy into all the stuff people at counters say as it's their job to try and sell you the product
whether it's good or not. I will just leave it and research the product for myself. So that's what I did. I found
out that Kim Kardashian did actually wear it at her wedding (which kinda did sell it to me) and I did see some
quite good reviews. I had a coupon code for 20% off so just went ahead and bought it and see if it is actually worth it.

Firstly, the packaging on this mascara is so simple, sleek and pretty. I love the gunmetal colour with the pop of
purple on it. The primer packaging is also very simple and sleek which I love.

The Subversion primer really helps get your lashes ready for the mascara. It separates and lengthens your lashes
so well and just gets them prepared for the mascara. I forgot to picture it after with just the primer on I'm afraid. I personally feel like it really makes a difference. I really feel like you need to use this before the mascara to be
able to get the most out of the mascara itself.

You can see the difference on how much longer my lashes are. This is probably in my opinion the best mascara
I've ever used. My lashes are longer and separated and really make my eyes look more defined. I have used the
mascara with out the primer and I don't feel like I get the same effect unfortunately. When I use the primer I
only need one coat of it and one coat of the mascara and I'm satisfied. Whereas, if I use the mascara alone I will
need a few more coats to get the same effect and my lashes aren't as separated without the primer.

Overall, I really like this mascara and will definitely be repurchasing it. The only thing is, I will have to repurchase
the primer also as I feel like it makes such a difference. At £17, it's a bit pricey but you do get the free primer and
I'm yet to see how long it lasts me. So far I've had it for about a month and I still feel like I've got tons of product
left, so I'm pretty happy with my purchase!

Collective Haul

Hello everyone!
I've got a big collective haul for you today. I've been doing quite a lot of retail therapy lately which has
made a bit of a dent in my bank account (Whoops!). Some of these things I have wanted for such a long
time though and I'm so excited to share what I brought with you guys!
Hope you Enjoy!

Recently I decided to switch up my skincare routine. Instead of using a face wipe to take off my make-up I
wanted to try this micellar water from Garnier. So many people talk about how great it is and thought I would
give in and give it a go! I see what the fuss is about. It feels a lot nicer then a face wipe. It really gets all my
make-up off which I love. I prefer to use some sort of make-up remover before going in with my cleanser.

I've been getting more into my nails over the past few weeks. I'mnever usually fussesd about my nails as I'm not supposed
to wear nail polish at work and if I ever do, then they just chip easily and it's too much hassle. I really love stiletto nails
and I love how my nails look when they're long. I never really use base or top coats but I knew I really should use them. I
found this double duty top and base coat from Sally Hansen. It's such a great little 2 in 1 product! It definitely makes sure
that dark colours don't stain my nails and also makes sure it doesn't chip so easily as well.

This is just my usually hairspray that I LOVE. I just needed to restock. The smell of it reminds me of pina colada..
    anyone else get that?

Another product that is one of my favourites. I've tried other moisturisers I just find myself going back to this one all the
time and it lasts me absolutely ages!

At first I wasn't too fussed about this mascara when it came out but after the guy at the Urban Decay counter told me
how amazing it was and how Kim Kardashian used it for her wedding make-up, he got my attention! (I'm a very big
Kardashion fan). After doing some research on it and seeing some reviews I just had to try it out. so far I am absolutely in
love. I will be doing a review on this mascara soon so look out for that!

I have wanted to try Mario Badescu products for such a long time and finally I just gave in and bought a few things to try.
The price tag was the main thing that put me off which, is why I've only bought 2 products for now. This particular
product is a targeted spot treatment for pimples and whiteheads. I've been using it for over a week now and I'm really
impressed. The smell isn't great but it's not the worst and you do get used to it. It dramatically reduces any spot I have and
helps calm it down a lot. It wont work on any cystic spots. There is another treatment designed for that which is
the Buffering Lotion, That will be my next purchase!

I bought this dry mask to go with my drying lotion. I really enjoy using this. It says you can use it 2-3 times a week. I
probably use it 1-2 times a week. It claims that calms exsisting acne and prevents future break out. I'd say so far after
using it a few times that it does do that. I do feel like it calms my skin down and it does help dry out any spots I have.

Macadamia Natural Oil ShampooMoisturising RinseNourishing Leave In Cream &
I recently tried the travel set from Macadamia Oil and I really enjoyed it so bought some bigger bottles of my most
loved products from them. Although, the leave in cream was an accidental purchase. I was supposed to get the
moisturising rinse and wasn't paying attention and ended up ordering the cream instead so had to go back and purchase the
rinse! I only realised while taking the picture for this post.. that'll teach me to pay attention in future I suppose!

I love using these products. They leave my hair feelings amazing and smell incredible! They are expensive but I've found
they they are so much cheaper on Amazon so will just continue to purchase them on there.

My mum did actually pick up some cheap versions of these in Aldi I think it was for 99p each! They're exactly the same
size as these bottles as well. I will definitely be giving those a go and reviewing them to see if they are any good.

After watching Barbara from The Persian Babe's skincare routine, I really wanted to try out this cleansing balm. I usually
use the No7 Hot Cloth Cleanser but as I said before, I wanted to switch up my skincare products. It's for all skin types
which, is great. I prefer to use a balm or cream cleanser as it's less harsh on my skin and my skin can get very dry so I
want something that wont dry it out even more. I've been using the balm for the past few weeks and I'm so happy with it. It
is very expensive but I'm hoping it will last me a while to make up for that!

Topshop Nail Polish in Ruthless. (Not currently available online)
As it's getting colder I wanted a deep red nail polish to get me more in the mood for Autumn/Winter. I usually use Revlon
Nail Enamel in Vixen, but have ran out of that. I got this one in Topshop for £4 as I used my friends student discount. This
colour is so gorgeous and it's that type of colour that will suit most skin tones.

TK Maxx Gold & White Chevron Photo Frame. (Similar Here)
I'm currently in the process of decorating me room. Everything is quite neutral with a few accent colours, with gold being
one of them. I love white and gold. I think it's so elegant and simple. I picked this photo frame up in TK Maxx for about £7/8.

Whilst I was in TK Maxx I found these under eye pads in the beauty section. I love TK Maxx's beauty section so much!
you can discover so many great finds in there. I got these for £4.99 as they look nice and relaxing. I'm now 21 so I don't
have any wrinkles but I'd like to prevent them for as long as possible and I thought these would be great to use if I'm ever
feeling tired or haven't had much sleep! I've seen things like these for much more money, so I thought £4.99 was a
    bargain!

So you know I'm obsessed with the Kardashians. Kim is the reason I purchased this coat. She rocks a long camel coat like
no other! I want to start dressing a bit more grown up and I think this coat definitely makes me look more serious and
grown up. Can't wait to start styling it! I got it with 20% off as they had a voucher at the time and I ended up getting this
    for about £50 including shipping.

    H&M Jersey Vests. (Similar Here)
I'm getting into the habit of working out more, so wanted to stock up on some simple and comfortable pieces to wear. I got
these 2 vests in H&M for about £3.99 each plus I got 20% off with my friends student discount again, so definitely got a
    good deal there!

    RBX Sports Leggings. (Similar Here)
I also picked up some work out leggings in TK Maxx. I got them for £14.99 and I really love how they look and fit on me.
It definitely makes me more motivated to work out when I have cute work out clothes to wear!
