April Favourites

Hey guys! I can't believe it's almost May! This year is going by so quickly.
Also, I'm 21 now and this is kinda how I feel about it .. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbOUKSzXadQ.
(Except, I've turned 21, not 30.)
Ahem, now here are my April favourites..

If you saw my Collective Haul post, you'll see I mentioned that this has become my new favourite lipstick, so it's no surprise it has ended up in my favourites. It's just a great colour that will compliment pretty much everyone. Revlon just do great lipsticks in my opinion and they're so affordable.

I've been wearing this pastel blue shade most of April because my sister is expecting twin boys so I felt it was just very appropriate :) I never use to really care for nail polish that wasn't some sort of shade of pink, red or purple, but this shade is just so pretty and I am just obsessed with pastel colours at the moment!

I've always been a bit hesitant of using a face oil because I just instantly think it's going to be greasy and make my face oily even though I have dry skin and I just was just too scared. But over a month ago I picked up this Rosehip Oil in Boots as I'd saw some reviews of it online and thought I'd give it a go. Honestly, I don't think I can live without this now. I put it on every single night after my usual routine and my face just feels and looks in much better condition. It's still not perfect so let's not get ahead of ourselves, but it's just visibly much better. It's helped reduce the scarring on my face so much and my face looks more brighter and awake int he mornings. It doesn't feel greasy at all to me either, it sinks into the skin so nicely. I've used maybe like 1/5th of it, maybe less, and like I said I purchased it over a month ago and have been using it every single night, so I know it's definitely going to last me a while.

I've had this curling wand for years. Literally years. I think I got it on my 16th or 17th birthday. I use it every now and again when I'm going out or just have a bit of spare time to look pretty. It's so cheap and does the job I want it to perfectly, I really love it! You can choose whether you want tighter or loser curls and if you want more volume you can do it from the root. This is my result after I do lose curls, brush them out and add a bit of hairspray :)

I picked up this V-Neck and featured it in my most recent collective haul and I love it so much! It's perfect to throw on with a pair of jeans and leather jacket. It's so flattering and is so easy to dress up or down and doesn't shrink in the wash. Finally! Right after this I'm gonna go down to Topshop to stock up.

This was one of my presents for my birthday and I love it so much. I wanted a Marc Jacobs watch for so long so when my mum offered to buy me one for my birthday I wanted it to be perfect. I chose from 3 different ones and this is what I got. I like it because its gold and really wanted a gold one, but it's also very elegant looking at the same time and doesn't look too much.

This was also a birthday present from my older sister and her other half. I chose this also and my family know how picky I can be! Lol. I just wanted something simple and pretty and it's exactly what it is. She wanted to get it engraved as it was my 21st so of the front it just has 21 as it was too small to get anything else on there. I wear it all the time now!

Favourite songs..
Lana Del Rey - West Coast
Iggy Azalea - Fancy

Favourite Film..
The Other Woman - Saw this in the cinema recently with my friend Antonia. We loved it! Such a good chick flick!

Collective Haul

Hey guys! Hope you've all had a lovely Easter. Today, I'm doing a collective
haul because apparently I can't seem to stop spending my money.. On the upside,
it was my birthday last Thursday and I got a lot of lovely gifts which I will
do a post on soon!

I'm slowly re-decorating my room and one thing I really wanted was a mirror to go on my desk. I didn't
want anything too big or fancy, just something that fits on it nicely and didn't cost too much. I came
across this one from Matalan as I had a 20% off voucher at the time which put it down to £20 from
£25 so I was definitely please about that! It goes so nicely with the décor of my room and fits
perfectly on my desk.

I really wanted some pastel nail polishes for the Spring/Summer and as soon as I saw the advert for
these I was in Boots checking out the whole collection. The whole of it is lovely but what I really
wanted and love is the lighter, pastel shades. They're so beautiful! I've had Rimmel 60 Second nail
polishes before and they don't exactly dry in 60 seconds, but they do dry a lot quicker than most
nail polishes, so I can get past that!

Herbal Essences Classic Silk n Shine Shampoo & Conditioner.
I needed some more shampoo and conditioner and I do love this one. It's cheap and smells amazing!
And let's face it, who doesn't love the original Herbal Essences?!

My usual concealer. You know I love it! I literally buy one every time I go into Boots/Superdrug
because I'm afraid of running out!

This is also a product I already use on a daily basis. It's not the cheapest, but you girls know
how hard it is to find a good foundation that is actually your shade.

I love Revlon Lipsticks. They're just amazing shades and so pigmented! Pink in the Afternoon is
just a pretty pinkish nude shade, which is what I've been looking for because they're so easy to
wear and just pop on. The colour I'm really excited about though, is Fire & Ice. I'm a big fan of red
lipsticks and I'm actually starting to gather a little collection of them. It's a bright red, which is
perfect for Spring/Summer. I actually think this is my new favourite lipstick shade, can't believe
I didn't find it sooner!

Another nude lipstick I picked up recently was this one from Topshop. I'm not a massive fan of nude
lipsticks on myself but I do like this one. I have to be quite picky with nude lipsticks as I've got quite
light skin already, so most nudes on me just look like that thing everyone use to do in school, where
they put foundation on their lips as well, so your lips just blended in with your face. Not very flattering.
But yeah, I like this one! It has a bit of a pinkish tone to it and is very creamy.

So, I don't really work out. I just keep buying more work out things in hopes that it'll motivate me
to work out. So far, there's been no working out but now Summer is coming, I don't think I have a
choice! I thought this sports bra was such a lovely colour and I've got tons of H&M workout
clothes and it's all so comfortable and stylish at such a good price. Now I need to start working out..

Topshop Vicscose V Neck Tee in White & Grey.
Everyone should have good basic tee's in their wardrobe. Men or women. I love a good basic white
tee but after one wash they just aren't the same. Recently I got told that Topshop basic Tee's are
very good quality and don't shrink like the rest of mind have, so I've purchased a few v-necks which
are so comfy and flattering. Now I just need to test them out in the wash and hope they don't shrink.
I'll be stocking up if they don't! Will keep you updated!

TK Maxx Acrylic Lipstick Holder (Similar Here).
I already have one of these but seeing as I'm building up my lipstick collection I just thought,
'why not get another one?' So I did! It's around £7 in TK Maxx but you can get them on places like
Amazon and Ebay. Just a very pretty way to display all of you favourite lipsticks.

Love love love this face mask. I just ran out of it so I picked up some more because it's so amazing!
It's just the perfect mask for when you're skin is acting up and your breaking out. Plus, I got told by
the guy in Lush that soon they're bringing out a new one but it's going to have more honey in it,
so it won't be as drying on the face, yay! Not sure when though, It's might even already be out. Not sure.
I definitely want it though!

Everyone's seen Frozen right? If not, why?! It's so good and so funny an the songs are so damn catchy.

Skincare - My Top 10 under £10

Hey guys!
So I know a lot of you want to take care of your skin but we're all on a budget, so I've found 10
of my favourite skincare products under £10 to help you out!
Enjoy.

This is probably my holy grail cleanser. It takes off every single speck on my make-up
(I don't wear loads) and leaves my skin feeling amazing after. I typically use this with my Clarisonic
at night then just with a muslin cloth in the morning. Works beautifully with them both. I love it so
much, I've stocked up on it to last me quite a few months!

This is one of my favourite facial moisturisers. It's especially for sensitive or dry skin which is perfect for me.
It gets rid of my dry patches without feeling heavy on my skin and clogging my pores. It's so
lightweight and very moisturising. Perfect if you want a simple, gentle moisturiser and have dry
or sensitive skin.

I don't tend to use toner too often as it really dries out my skin, but if I have a lot of blemishes
then this is the toner that will dry those suckers out overnight! If you have oily/spot prone skin,
this is for you!

Another toner I love is this one by Lush. It's great at drying out pesky blemishes but as I said before,
toner's usually dry out my skin so I only tend to use them when I've got a lot of breakouts. Tea tree
water works so well at fighting spots and I can easily wear this under make-up. I really love Lush because
they use hardly any ingredients. The less, the better!

I haven't been using this face mask for long, but I'm already really liking it. It's great at purifying the skin
and is a great little refreshing mask. What I really love, is that is that after using it my skin doesn't feel
really dry. A lot of masks I've tried like this have really dried my skin out horribly and it's hard to
maintain clear and hydrated skin. This leaves my skin actually quite soft and I don't feel like I
have to go and immediately slather  my face in moisturiser.

This is my most favourite face mask. Whenever I feel a breakout coming on or I'm in the middle of it,
I will use this 1-2 times a week. It really calms down my skin and you can literally feel it working.
You can even use it on your body as well as your face.

This is literally a bargain! It's stupidly inexpensive and comes in a massive tube which lasts you ages.
I bought mine last year and still have tons left. It smells so minty and fresh and leaves my skin
ridiculously soft. It helps dry up blemishes, get rid of blackheads and tighten your pores.
For this much product at this price, you can't say no.

I featured this scrub from Lush in my most recent favourites post. When my skin looks dull and needs
a bit of refreshing I'll use this scrub. For a scrub it's really not hard on my skin and all scrubs I've
used in the past leave my skin feeling tight and very dry, but this scrub makes me skin surprisingly
very soft. I can't stop touching my face afterwards. It's leaves my skin looking refreshed and brighter.
Best used in the shower as it gets quite messy!

If you've read my recent posts, you'll know this is my go to spot gel . I do love my origins
super spot remover but this one is about a third of the price and does just as good of a job. I usually
stock up on it when Boots or Superdrug do a third off on Clean & Clear products every so often.
(Boots are doing one now so hurry and get it whilst it's only £3.06!)

Biore Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips (Nose Strips) £7.99
Every girl loves a good pamper and it's never complete without using nose strips. I've used these
ones for years and love them so much. They're inexpensive and do the job perfectly. Definitely
something I like to keep in my drawer whenever I feel like having a pamper!

March Favourites

Hey guys!
Can you believe it's April already?! Crazy. But I am excited because it's my birthday on the 17th!
So anyway, I missed February favourites (my bad) as I didn't really have anything that I was really
loving that much. I have been shopping recently though and found some new products that
I'm absolutely loving!
Enjoy :)

I love this moisturiser and have done for years. I have dry skin and it can sometimes be sensitive to certain
products. I do love trying out different facial moisturisers but I feel like nothing will compare to this for me.
It sinks into the skin so nicely and doesn't feel as if you've put anything on.

This was in my favourites of 2013 and it was for a reason. It's my go to spot treatment gel as it's so
inexpensive and so effective.

Out of all the ColorBurst Balm's I've bought, I've warmed to this one the most. It compliments my skin very
nicely and is so easy to wear. If I don't want it too full on I'll usually just put a bit on a rub it into my lips,
which also helps it last longer.

This stuff smells so good! I'm addicted. This will now be the only body wash I use. Go to Boots and
smell it and you'll see why.

If you like a good thick brow, go get this. It really makes me eyebrows look thicker and fuller and
keeps them in place all day long. I don't know how it does with water yet, but hopefully it doesn't react
badly with it because with this, some BB cream and a lip balm you've got the perfect beach day make-up.

I never use to really use facial scrubs because I have my Clarisonic but I feel like I need one. I wanted
something with natural ingredients and the avocado in this leaves my skin feeling so soft.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
So if you read my blog, you'll know that this is a recent purchase and I already love it to pieces!
I do love the Cosmopolitan sponge still but this one from Real Techniques is just amazing. Applies
my foundation beautifully and is so easy to use. This sponge + liquid foundation = FLAWLESS. Just
remember that you need the sponge damp before you apply to get the perfect application.
